Understand the Health Report
Read one website row's score, trends, and calculation.

The Health Report gives you a portfolio view of current and historical monitoring health. It shows one row for every website in TechDash, with the sites that have the lowest current Health Score first.
Use it to answer two different questions:
- Which website currently needs attention?
- Is a site's incident activity and Health Score improving or worsening over time?
What each website row shows
Each row contains two cards. The larger card shows the website icon, website name, and a trend chart. The smaller Health Score card shows the current score as a radial gauge.
The trend chart contains four series:
- Advisory incident openings
- Warning incident openings
- Critical incident openings
- Health Score
The three incident series use the left axis. The dashed Health Score series uses the right axis, which always runs from 0 to 100. Do not compare their line heights as if they share one scale.
For Days, each incident value is the number of openings on that local calendar day. For Months and Years, TechDash shows average openings per day within each visible month or year, rounded to one decimal place. Health Score is averaged across the available daily score snapshots in the month or year and rounded to a whole number.
The current day's chart score is replaced with the live Health Score. Days without a stored snapshot are filled with zero incident openings and the previous available score, so gaps do not appear as invented incident activity.
Read the live Health Score card
The radial gauge is the website's current score out of 100:
- 80-100 is green
- 50-79 is amber
- 0-49 is red
Select View calculation to see the enabled page count, the number of current open Advisory, Warning, and Critical incidents, their weighted values, and the exact score formula. Advisory has weight 1, Warning has weight 4, and Critical has weight 10.
The live report is cached for up to five minutes. It is based on current open incidents and enabled monitored pages. The historical chart is stored as daily snapshots, so the current gauge and an older chart point answer different questions.
Choose the useful time range
Use the control above the report to select Days, Months, or Years:
- Days shows up to the latest 30 days.
- Months shows up to the latest 12 calendar months.
- Years shows up to the latest five calendar years.
TechDash does not display chart buckets from before the website was added or before its available snapshot history starts. New websites therefore show a shorter line even when a longer range is selected.
Changing the range changes the chart only. It does not recalculate the current gauge, alter incidents, or change website ordering.
Turn the report into action
Start with the first row because it has the lowest score. Check View calculation to understand whether a small number of Critical incidents or a larger set of lower-severity incidents is responsible. Next, open Incidents and filter to that website to inspect evidence, affected URLs, and recovery status.
Treat chart spikes as leads, not diagnoses. A spike in openings can follow a deployment, a temporary outage, or a newly enabled check. A persistently low score with no recent spike usually means older issues remain open.
Website ordering reflects the formula, not revenue, traffic, or business priority. Review strategically important sites even when they are not first.
If no websites exist, Health Report shows No websites to report and a Go to Websites action. Once you add a website, its row appears and history begins accumulating locally.
