Changelog
What changed in each TechDash release.
1.0.6 (14 September 2026)
What's new
- Daily Digest in the sidebar, below Websites. Enable one summary each local day instead of a real-time desktop, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Discord alert for every incident. Configure the send time and which levels appear. Setup: Use Daily Digest instead of real-time alerts.
1.0.5 (11 September 2026)
What's new
- AI Access in Settings (off by default). Connect Claude Desktop or ChatGPT Desktop to the websites, incidents, pages, and Health Report already stored on this computer. You can resolve or unresolve an incident, ignore a check, clear an ignore, and add or remove a monitored page. Setup: Use TechDash with Claude or ChatGPT.
- Shopify Web Bot Auth on Add website and Edit website. Paste the Shopify crawler signature, run the local test, then turn it on. TechDash opens a Critical incident when fewer than 7 days remain or the signature has expired.
- Settings > Check for Updates now has a Changelog link. The same notes are public at techdash.com/changelog.
Fixes
- Soft 404 no longer flags long help articles just because the title mentions 404 or "not found". A 404-like title only fails when the page also has fewer than 200 words. Pages with fewer than 40 words still fail.
- Content-change incidents now compare the full visible page text, not a short preview.
- ChatGPT Codex can connect when the Authorization header is only the access token. Copy ChatGPT setup now quotes the
Bearervalue Codex expects.
Improvements
- Scheduled checks wait until the window is shown so they do not slow the first paint. If TechDash starts hidden at login, checks still begin immediately.
1.0.3 (26 August 2026)
What's new
- Sources after you add a website: pick suggested pages from Google Search Console, a pasted URL list, or links found on checked pages. Nothing is monitored until you add selected pages or add all. Skip takes you to Monitored Pages.
- Suggested Pages hides URLs with query strings, shows 100 rows at a time, and shows the full address on hover when a long URL is shortened.
1.0.2 (25 August 2026)
Improvements
- Page checks use Google Chrome, then Microsoft Edge, then Chromium already installed on this computer. The installer no longer includes a browser.
- Settings > Monitoring asks for a Chromium path only when none of those browsers are found.
What's new
- Windows installers are signed (publisher TUN DIGITAL LTD). Windows can still show a SmartScreen warning on a new download until that publisher is well known.
1.0.1 (21 August 2026)
First public release.
