Technical SEO monitoring for in-house teams
Developers, CMS editors and marketing change pages constantly. A weekly crawl is too slow, and a rank tracker reports the damage after Google has already reacted. TechDash watches the URLs you own and shows evidence when an SEO signal changes.
Silent changes are the usual failure mode
In-house sites do not wait for an SEO ticket. A campaign landing page is edited in the CMS. A developer ships a header change. Legal updates a template. Most of those edits are fine. The ones that add noindex, retarget a canonical, or collapse main content do not look like outages, so they wait for the next scheduled crawl or the next traffic dip.
TechDash is technical SEO monitoring for that interval: pick the important URLs, record their signals, and get an incident with evidence when they change.
What to watch first
- Home, category, product or article templates that earn traffic
- Campaign and launch URLs while they are live
- Legal and trust pages that must stay indexable
- robots.txt and the primary XML sitemap
- Structured data on templates that need rich results
Use the launch checklist when a redesign is in flight, then leave a thinner daily watch running.
Evidence, not “something changed”
A generic page monitor that says the HTML moved is a meeting. An incident that shows index, follow became noindex, follow on a named URL is a ticket. TechDash stores severity, the affected URL and before/after so SEO and engineering look at the same facts.
A weekly habit that fits a web team
- Critical alerts go to Slack or Teams as they happen.
- Once or twice a week, sort the Health Report by score, not by whoever emailed last.
- Confirm whether each Warning was a planned CMS or release change.
- Verify fixes in TechDash before you close the thread.
If engineering owns the watch during deploys, send them website monitoring for developers. If you also run client sites, the agency page is a closer fit.

Questions
How is this different from our weekly crawl?
A crawl is a snapshot of many URLs. Monitoring is a short list of important pages checked often enough that a Friday noindex does not wait until next Tuesday. Keep the crawl for architecture. Use TechDash for the days between.
We already have a rank tracker. Why add this?
Rank tracking answers whether a query moved. Change monitoring answers whether the page still has the indexability, canonical, robots and schema you intended. See website monitoring vs rank tracking.
Can marketing and SEO share alerts?
The machine running TechDash gets desktop notifications. Slack, Microsoft Teams or Discord webhooks can send the same Critical and Warning incidents to a shared channel.
What if the change was intentional?
Read the before/after, confirm with the owner, then ignore or resolve. The point is that someone sees the change with evidence, not that every incident is a bug.
Does crawl data leave the company?
Page HTML, screenshots and the URL list stay on the computer running TechDash. Licence validation does not send the site list to us.
Buy the desktop licence. Keep the crawl data local.
One-off licence, 77 shipped checks, Slack/Teams/Discord alerts, and no monthly monitoring subscription. Current launch price: $89.50.
