Read the Incidents dashboard and status cards
Use the summary cards and incident list to assess current monitoring.

Incidents is the default TechDash page. It shows the current open issue state calculated from the latest page checks, site resources, Search Console data, and website lookups. Resolved and ignored findings are removed from this view.
Read the summary cards
Four cards summarize the installation:
- Checks Made Today counts completed check activity since the start of the current local day and shows when the latest check was made.
- Total Open Advisories shows the number of open Advisory incidents and the latest time an Advisory in the current list was checked.
- Total Open Warnings does the same for Warning incidents.
- Total Open Critical Issues does the same for Critical incidents.
The incident totals describe the open list, not the number of notifications sent. Built-in Warning and Critical incidents can notify through enabled channels, while built-in Advisories do not. One grouped incident can also contain evidence for several URLs, so the total is not always the number of affected pages.
Severity reflects likely business impact. Critical issues can block availability, secure access, crawling, or indexability. Warnings can signal meaningful SEO or customer-journey risk. Advisories are lower-risk changes or opportunities that still deserve review. Open incidents also affect Health Score, with Critical weighted more heavily than Warning and Advisory.
Read an incident card
Open incidents appear below the filters as full-width cards. They are ordered by importance: Critical first, then Warning, then Advisory. Within the same level, more recently checked incidents appear first.
Each card can contain:
- The check name and an Advisory, Warning, or Critical badge
- The affected URL, first affected URL, or non-URL key used by a grouped check
- A website icon and an external-link control when the location is a URL
- Short comparison values when suitable evidence is available
- A relative Detected time based on when the failing result was checked
- Check-specific guidance from How to fix
The card deliberately omits evidence that would be misleading or too large. Fingerprints, stored HTML references, and list-style evidence do not appear as short before-and-after snippets. Open the card to see the incident detail and all supported rows.
The word Detected identifies the timestamp of the latest failing evidence represented by the incident. It is not a permanent creation timestamp. A still-failing check can update that timestamp on later runs.
Understand the list count
Above the cards, TechDash displays Showing n of total incidents. The first 30 matching incidents are shown. Select Load More to add the next 30. Changing search, website, or importance filters resets the visible amount to the first 30 matching results.
If no open incidents exist, the page shows No open incidents. If incidents exist but your filters exclude all of them, it shows No incidents match. These are different states.
Use the dashboard for triage
- Check Total Open Critical Issues for urgent failures.
- Filter to a website when a release or infrastructure change affects one property.
- Open each relevant card and inspect the current evidence before changing the site.
- Use the appropriate action only after deciding whether the condition should be fixed, accepted, or suppressed.
Do not treat the summary as a complete check history. Latest results under a monitored page includes passing, skipped, and error outcomes that never become open incidents. A pass is a successful check result. Good is the healthy status shown for a pass or recovery, not another incident severity. Notification history records changes and delivery channels, which is different from the latest open state shown here.
If the page displays an offline or Wi-Fi sign-in banner, existing incident data remains available, but TechDash will not run new checks until connectivity returns.
