Filter and browse monitored pages
Find monitored URLs by path, full URL, status, schedule, or last-check text.
Last checked 21 August 2026
Use Filter pages to find a URL without changing or deleting any monitored-page data. The table shows 10 matching URLs at a time and paginates longer result sets.
Filter pages
- Open Websites and select the website.
- Find the Monitored Pages card.
- Enter text in Filter pages.
TechDash compares your query, without case sensitivity, against:
- The stored path and query, such as
/products?page=2 - The full absolute URL resolved from the website origin
- The schedule label: Every 15 minutes, Hourly, Daily, or Weekly
- Relative last-check text, such as
3 minutes ago, or Not checked yet - Status wording, including Good, Unknown, Warning, and Critical where applicable
Without a wildcard, TechDash treats the query as a contains search. Entering pricing can therefore match /pricing, /plans/pricing, or a query string containing that word.
Use wildcards
Two wildcard characters are supported:
*matches any number of characters, including none.?matches exactly one character.
Examples:
/blog*matches paths beginning with/blog.*/products/*matches full values containing a products path segment./store/item-?matches/store/item-1but not/store/item-10.*example.com/contact*can match the full absolute URL.
When your query contains * or ?, it is matched as the complete wildcard pattern rather than being automatically wrapped in a contains search. Add * at the beginning or end when needed.
Search uses the values currently displayed or derived for each page. Relative time text refreshes about once a minute, so a query such as minutes ago can change which rows match as time passes.
Browse results
When more than 10 pages match, the footer shows the current range and total. Use Previous, Next, or a numbered page link. Changing the filter returns you to the first result page.
If nothing matches, TechDash shows No matching pages. Clear or simplify the filter, check the hostname, or replace an overly strict wildcard pattern.
Inspect or act on a result
The URL column uses the available table width:
- Select the path to expand the page's controls and latest results.
- Hover a visually truncated path to see the full absolute URL.
- Select the external-link icon to open the live URL in your default browser.
- Select Run now to request a manual check.
- Select Remove to open a confirmation for that exact URL.
Expanded controls let you change the interval, Enabled state, per-page notification toggles, and optional built-in checks. Only one page row is expanded at a time.
What filtering does not do
Filtering does not:
- Pause, enable, disable, add, or remove pages
- Limit which pages the scheduler can run
- Change page order in storage
- Search across different websites
- Search the text of latest check messages or incident evidence
The table is scoped to the website you opened. Return to Websites and select another site to search its monitored pages.
Schedule and offline behavior
The filter is a local view and works with the records already stored on this computer. It does not need a network request and does not affect scheduled work.
If a matching page shows an old Last check, inspect its Enabled state and schedule, then check Queue Status. Offline or captive Wi-Fi pauses new scheduled admission. Battery power or a locked screen stretches due timing to twice the configured interval. Website pause, portfolio-wide pause, license state, and queue backlog can also explain a delayed check.
Troubleshooting
A full URL does not match: Make sure it uses the website's stored origin and exact hostname. TechDash constructs the searchable absolute URL from that origin plus the stored path.
A status query seems surprising: Failed pages can match both Warning and Critical wording because severity comes from their results. Expand the row to inspect the latest result details.
A wildcard finds nothing: Remember that a wildcard query is anchored to the full searchable value. Try adding * at both ends, such as *blog*.
The page count changed while browsing: Pages can be added, removed, or updated while the card is open. TechDash refreshes the list when monitored URLs change.
If an exact stored path or full URL still does not match after clearing and re-entering Filter pages, or pagination repeatedly opens the wrong range, open Help & Support. Include the TechDash version, operating system, hostname, exact query, expected path, wildcard use, displayed range and total, and screenshots before and after clearing the filter.
