Which operating systems are supported?
macOS 12+ (Apple silicon and Intel), Windows 10+ (x64 and ARM), Ubuntu 22.04+ and 64-bit Linux. Plan on 8GB RAM and 2GB of disk.
Does the app need to stay open?
No. Close the window and monitoring continues in the tray. Quit stops it. You can also launch at login.
What stays on my computer?
Crawl data, page HTML, screenshots, webhook URLs, licence key and Search Console tokens. TechDash does not upload your site list to a TechDash cloud database.
What still uses the internet?
The sites you monitor, plus optional Search Console, DNS, RDAP, TLS checks, alert webhooks, and licence or update checks. Those licence checks do not include your monitored URLs.
